Player earnings use a smart match time system that calculates playing time based on each player's rating vs their club's 11th best player (starting lineup threshold): players at or above the 11th best play 100% of matches, while those 10+ points below play 0%, with linear scaling in between (e.g., 11th best = 70, player 65 = 50% match time; 11th best = 70, player 68 = 80% match time). Earnings include wages (always paid at 8.4% per season), play bonuses and league prize money (scaled by match time %).

⚠ Important: Payback calculations use current wages. When contracts renew, wages are recalculated based on current rating. If a player's rating has dropped or drops before renewal, their wages (and your earnings) will decrease, making actual payback times longer than shown. Use with caution.
